A set of Arthur Percy “Reffla” glassware, Art Deco

Arthur Percy was a Swedish visual artist and ceramist born in Vickleby, Öland. In 1908 he traveled with some fellow artists to Paris, the following year they debuted under the name De unga. Percy mainly painted portraits, often children, landscapes and still lifes. In 1923 he became artistic director of the Gefle porcelain factory. He contributed to the spread of artistically high-quality everyday objects in Swedish homes. He was also employed as a glass designer at the Gullaskruf glass factory. Great vintage condition.
