Figure "Maja", Carl Eldh, plaster

Carl Eldh were one of Sweden's foremost sculptors. After working as an ornamental carver in his youth, including on the renovation of Uppsala Cathedral, Eldh traveled to Paris, where he stayed for several years and participated in free instruction in both drawing and sculpture under the influence of Auguste Rodin.
Great vintage condition with minimal signs of use.
